Getting Started

Step 1: Complimentary Intro Session

Call and schedule your complimentary intro session with one of our certified SECT CrossFit instructors. This is usually a 1-on-1 training session, however you may be in with a couple of other prospective members.

During the intro session you will not only do a light warm-up and modified CrossFit workout, but will get a feel for our facility and training atmosphere. This is also a time for you to ask any questions you may have and learn more about the SECT CrossFit philosophy of fitness.

Step 2 - Register for On-Ramp

After the intro session you can register for our On-Ramp beginners program. This is a two-week, commitment-free program that allows you to see if CrossFit is right for you.  You'll be instructed in the basic movements found in our CrossFit program, as well as the theory behind the CrossFit methodology.  We'll also cover some basic stretching/mobility drills, warm-up protocols, and basic nutritional strategies to help you get the most out of your training.  Our On-Ramp program consists of four one-hour classes held at 7am and 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays, with new classes starting every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. You also have the option to schedule three Private Training sessions if our On-Ramp class times do fit into your schedule.

Step 3 - Register for Group Classes

Once you "graduate" from the On-Ramp program, you then have the ability to integrate into our CrossFit program and come to any group class time of your choosing.  You are never committed to one specific class time. There is no need to call ahead, or go online (not yet), to schedule your training times, but you are expected to be at class 5-10 minutes early so you are ready to go when class starts.

Each day every class completes the same Workout of the Day (WOD), so you will have plenty of options for classes that work around your schedule. CrossFit is the best fitness program around, and the community at SECT CrossFit will have you feeling right on home. The best programming of CrossFit involves 4-6 days a week of training, thus maximizing your training time. However, we do realize that people need other options so we have packages for 1, 2, 3, and unlimited classes per week for your convenience.

If CrossFit group class format does not fit your schedule, or you would rather keep it more intimate you can schedule personal training sessions. If you choose this option, you can schedule personal training sessions with a certified SECT CrossFit coach to give you the personal attention you deserve and help get you superior results.
